Chakra Meditation – The Process
Chakra Meditation involves three techniques in this order.
*Grounding Method. As is obvious by its name, the Grounding Method makes your body feel associated with the Earth. The function of this technique is much easy. Just imagine a root mounting from your body and inflowing towards the Earth. Easier it may resonance, but needs strong attention and psychological consciousness while performing the Grounding Method.
*Centering Technique. This technique is vital as it prepares your body to receive the benefits of Chakra Meditation. Again, the application of this technique is not too difficult. Just take 4-5 deep breaths and feel every body part from head to toe getting relaxed. This process involves tightening and relaxing each body part from toe, and then visualizing the act of a potter who centers a pot on the pottery wheel.
*Relaxation – this is the last step in Chakra Meditation. Everyone has their own ways of relaxing; there is no one right way, nor a wrong way to relax.
Here is one of the most common methods of performing Chakra Meditation.
*Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
*Untie all your clothing so that there is no stress on any part of your body, and close your both eyes.
*Take deep, but natural breaths to help you relax – just let your body breath naturally and try not to think about it.
*Just begin feeling each fraction of your body from toe to the head in that way. While you’re both eyes are closed, just feel the earth you are lying or sitting on, or the bed you are lying or sitting on, feel the atmosphere near around you, and feel the clothing you are wearing. Feel the whole lot you’d have had your both eyes been open. Now imagine the life in dark!
*While you are doing this, you may feel emotions coming on. positive and negative. Let them flow through and out of you – this is the release of your stress! With practice and time, these feelings will disappear.
*Don’t delay your consciousness! Let it surge liberally from one fraction of your body to other.
This meditation exercise is beneficial at any time of day or night and may be done for as long as you like – the longer you meditate, the better the results will be.
